As the sap rises in the trees, Toile is filled with deep wonder-filled questions. This questioning reflects her growing awareness of the world around her—the flow of the river, the jump of a frog, the metamorphosis of a caterpillar, the communications between flowers and bees, the wonder of herself as a unique but connected human being and the immensity of the all-encompassing sky.

These moments of curiosity are inspired by the wise wonder of the things that children so innocently ask. Whilst the theme of questioning responds to the children’s questions within the Seder and the tone of reflection for us all renewed by this festival.
